We are in the last week of the Kickstarter and we still have some cool things to announce for the Martial Hero anthology, so stay tuned!
Also big congratulations to contributing author Ai Jiang, and the announcement in Variety that her work is was optioned for an adaptation to a feature film!
I can't wait for you to read her story in Martial Hero, and also can't wait until I can add a copy of Martial Hero to my shelf next to her other works!

In one week, Martial Hero has garnered over 200 backers! This is incredible and we are so excited to share all these stories with all of you.
At 200 backers, we unlocked a Wuxia essay. I have been using my essay skills over on Substack to write about Pursuit of Jade, but rest assured, when I start working on this Wuxia essay that it will go heavy on the Jin Yong!

The writers of the Wulin thank you. You have smashed through so many stretched goals and we are stunned that it looks like Martial Hero might hit 200 backers in its first week!

I woke up this morning to see 163 backers. Thank you so much! As someone who has been in publishing for almost a decade, Wuxia always seemed like a niche genre. I love seeing how much appetite there is for our Wuxia inspired stories!
At 175 backers, J.F. Lee will narrate his story. Many of these tales have the traditional settings of the Jianghu, but not everyone is a hero. J.F. Lee’s Assassins Have a Short Shelf Life depicts the conundrum of a mercenary for hire in the lawless Jianghu.
Also, I almost got into an argument with a stranger on the internet who said Pursuit of Jade is not Wuxia. Instead, I wrote a Substack article. That's growth, right? Enjoy:
