Now that we have this proof copy we can finalize our files for the printer, Bookvault. This printer is in the UK and it took almost a month to get this copy. I expect to start receiving batch orders in early November. I think we are still on track to get backers their copies by Dec 1 but wanted to let folks know that postal issues may slow us down over the holidays and due to our US elections.

We've now fulfilled over 100 backers' orders, and we're chipping away at the rest! Julia is currently travelling, but fear not, she's passed on some books and supplies to me to continue the momentum (with the world's cutest supervisor to keep me on track)!

Surveys and AppleID bounces

Hi backers, 86% of surveys are completed! Thank you so much! When we looked into incomplete surveys, it turns out most of these have an AppleID email that is rejecting these.
If you are one of these backers using an AppleID email, please message us with a better email address so we can re-send your BackerKit survey to that new email address.

As we go into full swing with fulfilment and post-production, we want to say a big THANK YOU, our dear Benefactors, for your enthusiasm during pre-launch, your hype during the campaign, and your continued support as we begin shipping your packages. Some digital fulfilment assets will take time to complete and distribute (or schedule), and we thank you for hanging with us as our contributors get to work.

Hello friends. My house is full of boxes.
This is only 50 mailers, in case you were wondering. (Doggo guarding the Box Tower.)
Author copies went out.
After testing 3 weights of vellum (100GSM, 135GSM, 167 GSM) and commercial printing (hot smeary mess) and LaserJet, we went with midweight on a LaserJet, then trimming with a giant cutting machine.
Thank you to backers who filled out their surveys! We've starting locking some surveys as the reward is getting packaged today and mailed out Monday.

For everyone who has not filled out your surveys yet, please look for it in your email. This gives us your address to mail your books! If you use an Apple mail address, they often block important messages from Kickstarter. Please let us know if you have not received a survey from BackerKit.
